IDE Technologies, a leading global provider of water treatment solutions, announced the closing of a public private partnership (P3) project with the City of Fort Lauderdale to design, construct and operate a new mega water treatment plant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. IDE has partnered with Ridgewood Infrastructure (RI) to create this unique project in which IDE and RI will fund 25% of the project costs and own the risk of construction and the long term risk of operation and maintenance of the project.

IDE Technologies, a world leader in desalination and water treatment solutions, today announced it was awarded the bid to finance, design and construct Israel’s seventh desalination plant in the Western Galilee region, which will be the first plant constructed in the northern part of Israel. The plant, once in operation, will produce 100 million cubic meters of desalinated water annually, improving the reliability of Israel’s water supply to Haifa, the Western Galilee and Upper Galilee regions.

The facility tested IDE’s proprietary MAXH2O Pulse Flow Reverse Osmosis (PFRO) technology for treating concentrated RO brine discharge, thus maximizing the recovery of high-quality water to achieve an overall recovery of 96 percent. The demo facility is located at the Hargesheimer Water Treatment Plant, which supplies water to the City of Abilene, Texas. Access to clean, high-quality water continues to be critical for municipal and industrial growth in the state of Texas and IDE’s technology supports both municipal and industrial applications. MAXH2O PFRO is a game-changer for water recovery in water treatment plants, with results showing a decrease in the volume of brine to be discharged, and a significant increase in efficiency.

IDE Technologies, a world leader in desalination and water treatment solutions, today announced that it will design, engineer and supply a seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination plant in northern Brazil, bringing a new, sustainable water solution to the region. Secured through the Water and Sewage Company of the State of Ceará, and in partnership with Marquise Infrastructure, the leader company of the Águas de Fortaleza Consortium, the Fortaleza Desalination Plant will be the newest IDE-engineered desalination plant and the largest desalination plant in Brazil. The plant will serve the city of Fortaleza, capital of Ceará.
