-- July 1, 2025 — FAW TRUCKS, a leading enterprise in China’s commercial vehicle industry, has announced a strategic proposal to establish eight wholly-owned subsidiaries across key international markets. The plan, approved at the 27th meeting of the 10th Board of Directors on July 1, aligns with the company’s ongoing implementation of its SPRINT 2030 internationalization roadmap.
The proposed investment, totaling approximately RMB 498 million (USD 68 million), would support the formation of local subsidiaries in Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and three other selected markets. The initiative aims to strengthen FAW TRUCKS’ overseas presence, accelerate localization, and lay the foundation for long-term international growth.
The establishment of these subsidiaries is a powerful step in delivering on our SPRINT 2030 strategy. It marks a new stage of international deployment that focuses on proximity to customers, sustainable growth, and long-term competitiveness in global markets.
