New capabilities will help construction teams identify risks earlier, simulate real-world conditions, and protect schedules on complex projects

Today at Groundbreak 2026, Procore Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: PCOR), the leading global provider of construction management software, announced the next phase of its collaboration with NVIDIA, bringing advanced digital twin capabilities to complex construction projects. Currently in closed beta, teams can now move seamlessly between Procore’s Model Manager and Realism Mode, powered by NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, to visualize projects in a highly-realistic 3D environment and explore how real-world conditions, such as extreme weather, could impact construction before they happen on the jobsite. By identifying potential problems earlier, teams can make adjustments before they lead to costly rework, delays, or schedule disruption.

The global economy is currently entering one of the largest infrastructure build cycles in history, fueled by trillions of dollars flowing into AI, data centers, and energy systems. Companies are projected to invest nearly $7 trillion in data center infrastructure alone by 2030. As demand accelerates, construction capacity and workforce constraints will threaten to slow the delivery of the facilities needed to power AI. Meeting that demand will require not only building faster, but building more efficiently, reducing waste, making better use of resources, and bringing better planning and predictability to complex projects.

“Construction is inherently physical, but in the future, the most successful and resilient megaprojects will be built digitally first,” said Steve Davis, president of product & technology at Procore. “As the leader in construction management software, Procore is deepening our collaboration with AI leader NVIDIA, to empower teams to visualize projects, simulate real-world conditions, and test variables before a single shovel hits the ground.”

“Building an AI factory requires thousands of decisions across power, cooling, compute, networking and physical infrastructure,” said Vladimir Troy, vice president of AI Infrastructure at NVIDIA. “NVIDIA Omniverse lets teams simulate these systems before construction begins, identify problems earlier and make better decisions before they become costly changes in the field. Together, Procore and NVIDIA are connecting simulation with project data to reduce risk and move faster from design to operation.”

The collaboration between Procore and NVIDIA advances Procore’s system of intelligence, helping construction teams see, understand, and act on connected project information. Procore’s acquisition of DroneDeploy expands what teams can see, bringing aerial and ground-based imagery together with project data to show what’s actually happening on the jobsite. Powered by NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, Procore’s digital twin capabilities help teams understand how real-world conditions and project changes could impact construction before they happen in the field. Procore AI turns that intelligence into action, helping teams identify risks, make informed decisions, and address potential issues before they become costly delays.

Together, these new technologies unlock new capabilities for construction teams, including:

  • Compare what was designed with what’s actually being built. Reality capture from DroneDeploy can bring real-world jobsite conditions into the digital twin, helping teams compare construction progress against the design, spot discrepancies earlier and make more informed decisions before issues compound in the field.
  • See how one disruption could ripple through the schedule. By connecting 3D models with procurement and schedule information, teams can understand how changes such as a delayed material delivery or equipment installation could affect downstream work—giving them more time to adjust sequencing and protect critical project milestones.
  • Test real-world scenarios before construction begins. Teams can simulate how extreme weather, sun exposure and the movement of crews and equipment could affect construction plans, helping them identify potential conflicts and make adjustments before they cause costly delays in the field.

Switch, a leading designer, builder, and operator of advanced data centers and a joint customer of Procore and NVIDIA, recognizes the significant potential for 3D visualization to transform the planning and execution of complex construction projects.

“When building at the pace and scale our customers require, there is no room for surprises in the field,” said Corine Winfield, VP Data Operations at Switch. “By visualizing a project in 3D, our teams gain greater clarity into construction progress, make better-informed decisions earlier and keep complex initiatives on schedule.”

Together, Procore and NVIDIA are advancing a new era of construction intelligence, where teams can do more than visualize what’s happening on a jobsite. By combining real-world project data with AI-powered simulation, construction teams can explore what could happen next, understand the impact of critical decisions and take action before risks become costly realities.
