St. Jude Dream Chicago Returns Oct. 25 to The Old Post Office

Attendees will enjoy entertainment from legendary band Sixteen Candles, gourmet food from top Chicago restaurants to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® invites the Chicago community to experience the 5th Annual St. Jude Dream Chicago dinner event returning Saturday, Oct. 25, at 5 p.m. CT at The Old Post Office. Guests will enjoy an immersive evening of gourmet tastings from top Chicago restaurants, mission moments, and live entertainment featuring Sixteen Candles. Proceeds from this one-of-a-kind event allow St. Jude to advance research and treatment that will help make cures possible for children with cancer in Chicago and around the world.

Inspired by the childhood dreams of St. Jude patients, the event will feature a variety of interactive experiences, including arcade games, ice cream sundae stations, slot car racing, Lego building, bocce ball, a flower market, and much more.

“Childhood should be filled with joy, laughter, imagination, and play. Every supporter ensures the story of a child at St. Jude isn’t one defined by cancer but by hope and survival,” said Matt Hilding, Honorary Chair of St. Jude Dream Chicago, Partner at Riverwalk Capital, and President at IHT Wealth Management. "I am honored to be part of this incredible event, which supports St. Jude in its groundbreaking research and commitment to providing world-class treatment to thousands of children each year."

Allison Rosati, anchor of NBC 5 News at 5, 6, and 10 p.m., will emcee this year’s celebration. In addition to more than a dozen local restaurant partners, food tastings will be provided by Boka Restaurant Group, the event’s Premier Restaurant Group Partner.

“This wonderful event unites people from all backgrounds in the city of Chicago, to reach for the dream of St. Jude’s founder, Danny Thomas, that no child should die in the dawn of life,” said Nate Hilding, Honorary Chair of St. Jude Dream Chicago and Co-Founder of Bottleneck Management.

Participating restaurant partners include: FAT MIILK COFFEE, Farmer’s Fridge, Truth Restaurant, Stan’s Donuts & Coffee, Labriola Chicago, Gaylord Fine Indian Cuisine, Sip and Savor Hospitality Group, Cuca Cucina, Tacotlan, ATZIMB CATERING AND EVENTS, Sable at Navy Pier Offshore Rooftop & Lirica Restaurant, Asado Urban Grill, Cefalù Seaside Sicilian, Xurro, Cima, El Berrinches, Modern Relish, Hank’s Juicy Beef & Giardiniera, and more from Boka Restaurant Group.
