Professional Instructors, Individualized Mentorship, and a Creative Haven in the Adirondacks Await Young Performers This Summer
DOBBS FERRY, NY / ACCESS Newswire / July 24, 2025 / Long Lake Camp for the Arts, the summer home to Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody and countless other successful performers, is proud to announce the opening of enrollment for its highly anticipated 2025 performing arts programs. This summer, young creatives ages 8 to 16 will have the opportunity to develop their talents in acting, musical theater, technical theater, film, music, and fine arts, all while enjoying the immersive experience of a world-class arts camp set against the stunning backdrop of New York's Adirondack Mountains.
As the birthplace of Adrien Brody's career, Long Lake continues its legacy of nurturing exceptional talent. The 2025 program will feature professional instructors, a individualized high level level curriculum, and personalized mentorship that empowers each camper to thrive in their chosen art form-whether it's theater, film, dance, music, technical theater, or the visual arts. Long Lake's programs cater to all experience levels, from beginners to advanced students, and no audition is required to enroll.
Campers will have the chance to choose from a wide range of artistic majors, selecting up to six subjects across performance and visual disciplines. The first 3-week session runs from June 22 to July 13, 2025, at a rate of $7,395. Additional 6-week programs are also available, with extended options providing deeper artistic immersion. Campers and their families can select the session that best fits their schedule, with, 3, or 6-week options available.
Long Lake's Theater Program stages over 15 productions every summer, including beloved classics like Beauty and the Beast, Legally Blonde, Chicago, and Into the Woods. Campers work with professional directors, choreographers, and vocal coaches, gaining hands-on experience that prepares them for future auditions, arts schools, or professional careers in the entertainment industry. In addition to the arts training, students can enjoy a full range of traditional summer camp activities, from hiking and swimming to sports tournaments and talent shows, ensuring a fun and well-rounded summer experience.
